Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The papers must be uploaded to the platform in Word format. To ensure anonymity, all information that enables the identification of the authors must be removed. Go to the start information tab, click on check for problems, then inspect document and remove document properties and personal information.

A file with the full name of the author or authors, their affiliation and position, and email address must also be included. Articles with more than three authors will not be accepted.

Textual citations in the text should be presented in the format: Sen (1987, 243).

In-text citations should be presented in the following format: Sen (1987).

References at the end of the text should be presented as follows:

In the case of books: Sen, A. (1987). Ethics and economics, Oxford: Blackwell.

In the case of journals, book chapters and Working Papers:

Swan, T.W. (1956). Economic growth and capital accumulation. Economic Record, 43(2), 334-361. https://doi.org/10.1111/j.1475-4932.1956.tb00434.x

The DOI of the works that have one must be indicated and must be listed as a website.

References at the end must include only the works cited in the text.

Tables and graphs must be included as objects and not as images. In addition, they must be attached in Excel or JPG.

The document must have the following format:

Margins: Top and bottom: 3 cm. Left and right: 2.5 cm.

Font: Times New Roman, size 11.

Title: size 16, bold, no italics.

Parallel title (Spanish): size 16, bold, no italics.

 

Authors' names: size 11, in italics, right aligned.

Abstract and summary (only the words “abstract” and “resumen”): small capitals.

Abstract and "resumen" (text): size 10.

Keywords, Palabras clave, JEL Classification and "Clasificación JEL" (only the words already specified): size 10, bold.

Sections: small capitals, no bold and with Roman numerals, left-aligned

Subsections: italics, left-aligned, no numbering.

Sub-subsections: same as subsections.

Text: size 11.

Footnotes: size 9, no italics, no bold. Footnotes will be exclusively for explanatory or clarifying purposes, and should not include bibliographical references.

Line spacing: multiple at 1.04

First line indentation: 1.25.

Titles of tables and graphs. Size 11, bold, centered. The title of the table or graph on one line and the name on another line.

Source for tables and graphs. Size 10, no bold.

References. Times New Roman, size 11, with a French indent of 0.5 cm.
