With over four decades of history, the journal has been a leading forum for the analysis of national and international economic developments, especially in Latin America. Its pages cover a wide variety of approaches and topics: empirical, econometric, sectoral, financial, industrial organization, and competitiveness studies; as well as economic growth and development, unemployment, inflation, international trade, social security, pensions, poverty, institutional economics, among others.
