Financialization and Model of Accumulation: The evolution of the debts and the external sector of the Mexican economy

Abstract

The capital production system modified its institutional arraignments. At present dominates a deregulated and globalized economic model, which expanded the size of the different agents’ balance sheet, which respond to the new forms of liquidity payments and speculative activities; adopting new forms in developing economies. In this paper are analyzed capital flow movements into these economies and its impacts on the real and financial sector. This is done in the context of the Mexican economy, where is highlighted that this process has come along with structural disequilibria that limited economic growth and hinder economic development.
